Michael Redd 6-6 220 Ohio State Michael Redd is having a super sophmore year at Ohio State. Redd is averaging nearly 20 points per game and over 5 boards a game. Most assumed he would come out in 00 or 01, but the recent buzz is that he could be a late addition to the 99 Draft class. Strengths-Great shooter. Can consistently his from mid and long range. Can create his own shot, and can also be a spot up shooter. Could become a #1 option in the BBS. Weaknessess-Not the best defender. At this point hes mediocre at best. A decent ball handler, but definately isnt a strong dribbler or passer. Has some trouble scoring inside. Not the best finisher. Potential Rookie Ratings... C B+ C- C D+ A

Michael Redd was known for his defense at Ohio State... and was deemed nothing more than a solid defensive player coming out of college... so how is one of his weaknesses his defense?

Im not gonna rate players based on what people thought theyd be while they were in college. If he was a good defender at OSU, he lost it at some point because he certainly isnt a good defender now.

I don't remember hearing that...while i don't care to doubt the validity, his D in the NBA definately wouldn't lead me to think he was a "stopper" at any point.

Michael Redd is considered a lock for the top 3 in the 00 Draft if he decides to declare.

Bro, stay in school. I'd hate to see Redd not become a stud scorer in BBS.

Michael Redd has officially declared for the 00 BBS Draft. YES! Now I need to lose like 90% of my games to have a chance at getting him. Time to tank.
