I also think it wouldve been very easy for Aaron to just say, "hey, ya, I totally sucked this year, and I wish I couldve made deals to compete, but it didnt work out. It sucks to give the Pacers a good pick, but I didnt have any deals that I couldve made to make me better this year". At least he couldve taken some responsibility for the fact that he did suck this year, and he didnt have his pick. Maybe he did try hard to get better. Looking at it from my perspective he didnt though. I mean 1 trade and 2 DCs? That isnt effort. One trade? I dealt for Brewer and Lowry this year K, 2 trades. Im not saying your a bad GM. Im not saying the deals you did were bad. Im just saying, Ive seen you make deals before, and this season, you didnt go out and try to win. When other teams in similiar circumstances didnt go all out to win, they got shit for it. No one gave you shit. Thats what Im saying.

Well, I'll say this: I was very close to getting Yao midseason. I also made a very legit offer for LeBron. Contacted Lums, James and Galo about trades. Only Galo got back to me, and he ignored my second PM. Tried a couple times for Thabeet. Reilly and I were in talks for me to bring in Samardo. Tried to get Foye/Gay from Outlawz and we couldn't agree to a deal. There are ton of other deals I offered to improve my team. I don't like the accusation that I didn't try, because I had to be the most active guy in trade talks this season. I have literally hundreds of PMs from this year.

I would never defend Aaron because he's a grade a faggot, but here, I have to. I feel like this season was pretty ridiculous on the trade offers. NO ONE WOULD COMMIT TO A DEAL. It was always "yeah, I like that, I'll get back to you" blah blah. I've never seen anything like it. James called me out on "lacking motivation to deal" and I took major offense to it, because I tried so hard to get so many different players. I'm sure it was the same way for Aaron. Everyone considers themselves an expert now, and it makes it so fucking difficult (not because they're holding up deals because they actually are experts, but because all of a sudden they consider themselves one, and are impossible to deal with as a result).
Pretty ridiculous season, trade-wise.
(And he dealt me Redd, so there is another deal.)

Yea, i've gotten from numerous people that they don't want to trade with me because "im a good GM" or "they don't want to risk losing out on a deal."

I wasn't able to make one deal because I needed to give Monta or Martell because I had them, even though my package completely satisfied the initial asking price. Penalized for having multiple studs.

gms are scared to make deals since they don't want to deal with the ridicule from gms. no matter what happens, there's always a few gms who aren't happy with the trade. i also think lots of gms have improved, and they're not just giving guys away.
