Some interesting notes.....
Elton Brand had 12 of the 18 votes for MVP and 13 of the 18 votes for defensive player of the year
Brand won defensive player of the year for the 2nd straight year in the BBS Awards
There were no unanimous selections this year. Luol Deng almost had a unanimous selction at All-Rookie SF, but the last ballot that came in left him off the ballot to ruin his chance.
Brand was placed on the 2nd team as a PF in the 2nd ballot received, but he was on the 1st team for every other ballot, so he too was one ballot away from being a unanimous selection.
Deng had 12 of the 18 votes as rookie of the year.

If any of you feel you voted and are not on the list, please let me know. It could be a typo, but these are the ballots I received and wrote down.

One last request...
I'm going to request from now on that if you wish to receive credit for the ballots that you send in complete ballots. I get a few incomplete ballots every year, and I feel like they don't deserve the entire 25 points because they don't vote for all the awards. So from now on, you MUST fill out the entire ballot to get the 25 points.

Awesome. These always seem much more realistic then the FBB awards. Great job again Scott.

I bet it was Jeremy that left Brand off the first team in favor of Duncan. Also I knew GM's wouldn't give any love to Sheed for being a defensive beast at SF.

Lookos good Spencer. Can you link up an awards page on the home page that has links to each years' awards? I can go through and find the old awards and shoot you a couple PMs with them if you want to.

I'm terribly busy this week between going to BWs for both Cavs games and heading to a Reds game tomorrow night. I'll definitely get them together Friday afternoon though as it won't take more than about 15 minutes.

Brandon was close Pig...Manu/Davis they are clear cut in front of Brandon and Arenas just has Brandon slightly beat in every category.
