Next to J Rollins, John Maine has to be the biggest snub. (10-4 record with a 2.71 era), what bs.

Rollins & Maine are definitely two of the biggest, if not the biggest.

rollins and maine are big... if the reds didnt suck so bad brandon phillips would easily be there or the pirates could have just not had sanchez named to team

Young of SD as that final vote-in spot. He wasn't on the final list either, how stupid is that?

so many players make the allstar team now... there are always going to be snubs because the last few players in dont really deserve it a lot of the time (especially with 1 player from every team rule)

Maine could easily be used in middle innings, he is well deserving, huge snub. J Roll having a lower avg, OBP hurts his chances. But his stats are solid. Hardy had decent year, but not a J Roll year.

maine should have made it over oswalt in replacement for smoltz... otherwise i can see how he didnt make it (you could say he should have made it but he wasnt much better if at all then other pitchers on team)
rollins should have made it but with dmitri young and freddy sanchez on team because of rules it was tough for him to... he could have made it over hardy but hardy has had a bigger impact on his team this year then rollins

Dmitri Young/Sanchez LMAO. Rule needs to be changed. Don't need representative from every team when half of them won't even play anyway. Sanchez especially is not deserving, having an average year at best.
