Artest has his issues but i think Isiah is the kinda coach that can control guys. He's a players coach and if we can get Artest i think we'll be ok. He's worth the risk. Like DJ said hes on a solid contract and can opt out after next year so if he can go at the right price i think any team on the rise would be wise to look into acquiring him. Lol i'm sorry but I can't help but laugh. The bold part is so far from the truth, or atleast it was when he was the Pacers coach but maybe things have changed. But Artest was wild then. All those flagurant fouls, he broke a TV camera, etc. Although Rick didn't do a good job of controling the team (not even talking about the brawl of even off the court stuff) But IDK if I was an NBA team i'd stay as far away from Ron as I could. He may be a great talent but he is a cancer. The man just isn't right in the head and maybe for his talent his salary is a steal but the fact that he is such a pain he ain't worth one dollar of it. Artest is so screwed up in the head that he can't be changed. It's not like a bad work ethic where you work harder and you fix it. I don't think Artest's problems can be fixed. In fact there were rumors that IT and Jermaine wanted Ron (along with Tinsley and Mercer) traded. I believe this was when Ron was acquired just a few months earlier. And then last year when Ron requested a trade the Knicks were brought up as a destination but someone was saying that IT didn't like Ron or want him. But this could all be wrong, just rumors floating around there. But I would love to see IT try and coach Ron again. Wow. That would be something else. Ron is a great talent but such a piece of shit. I hate that guy with a passion but mostly because I put a lot of the blame on his shoulders for Reggie not getting a ring. People don't realize how good that Pacers team was in 03-04 and 04-05 but Ron had a part in screwing them over both times, especially 04-05.

Bulls with Gasol would be nasty for awhile till Ben retires. Wallace Gasol Deng Gordon Hinrich and I guess when Ben is gone Thomas.

LMAO on Artest. Isiah will not tame him nor Randolph. Adding Artest means 3 people that always want the ball? Yeah that will work out well won't it.

Grant Hill signs with Suns...
what's with the Suns always getting were good and "old" players i.e. Tim Thomas, Jalen Rose, Jim Jackson, and now Grant Hill? I think it's a solid signing but where does he fit in their system?
thoughts?

Warriros signed Kosta Perovic, their 2nd rounder from last year. Improves their depth, which is important if they do offer a multi player package for KG.

Grant Hill to Phoenix is a good fit for them and paying him only 1.2 million is a steal.

the Raps were reportedly willing to offer Hill 3-5 years at the full MLE... so nice cheap signing for the Suns.

Sure beats having Artest and Jackson on this team. I wouldn't mind Dunleavy. When you look at his production and salary he really isn't that overpaid for a good starting calibar small forward. He is a very smart player and a nice team player to have. I think GS just had way to high of expectations for him. The problem is he is a small forward like Danny Granger. If either one of them was a natural 2 guard it would be great. Murphy has been a huge disappointment. I had confidence that he could be a double double guy like he was a couple years ago but he turned out to suck more then I thought he would. I really wish he was OFF the team especially with OB as the coach because you just know OB will fall in love with him. Just wait my friend, a full season of Stephen and his wonderful streaky shooting and all that good stuff and you guys will be sick of him I promise. I always liked Al but he takes bad shots and can't rebound worth crap. He is someone the Pacers should have never brought back as he was fine as the 6th man but him and Jermaine didn't complament each other well. Really want Dunleavy and Murphy gone. Dunleavy only because we need a shooting guard badly and the Pacers are keeping Granger so Dunleavy has to go. Murphy because he is just worthless. Plenty of stiffs with a jump shot only cheaper.

So you like the deal, but want both the main players you got gone already? Funny. Yeah I know, it doesn't make sense. I was so happy to get rid of Stephen though. Ike may be alright, he may suck. Don't know yet. Like I said I like Dunleavy, he just doesn't fit with Danny on this team. I do not like Murphy though. I think getting rid of Stephen had to be done but should have just swaped him for Dunleavy. Oh well.

Ike sucks IMO. Everyone was like, oh, he was the big part of the deal for Indy. Well he is a good ow post scorer, but hes a ball hog, and hes too short. Doesnt defend or rebound especially well either.

Travis Outlaw re-signs with the Blazers for a reported 3 year 12 million dollar contract. Not sure if he's worth that much money but he's very athletic and really played well last year when given minutes.

meh 3 years for 12 mil is a steal IMO, since he still has a lot of potential left.
