Monta>Chauncey haha...real nice game tonight, Monta was sick...has to learn to get rid of the ball before getting trapped, but I guess 21 yr olds do things like that....hopefully they don't have Arenas all over again and get this guy locked up

They are too young to do much more then maybe win in round 1. Its nice to see them beat teams like the Spurs and Jazz though, especially without Baron.

I remember that Silk (1st Chicago GM) never believed me about Arenas when BBS first started. Ellis is Arenas good.

I didn't see Arenas when he first started, but it's tough to imagine someone playing as well as Monta at such a young age, being a second rounder.

Very similar. Ultra quick. Shaky ball handling, but also just seemingly unphased by mistakes. Thick skin. Ellis doesnt seem like a complete weirdo like Gil. The quickness is the main thing, I mean Ellis isnt the best ball handler but he took Parker many times tonight, and Parker is considered on the quick end.

Just showed on one of the last possessions, ran right by Parker when he was trying to take an offensive. Parker couldn't say with him.

Maybe I'm on nellie's nuts, but, I really respect him for building up that Mavs chise(im a mavs fan) and I think he'll do the same for GS, great coach with a lot of versitile and offensive weapons to work with.
Parker's not a good defender... DHarris and Terry burn him all the time, it's funny cuz Parker is fast as hell on offense but on defense, not as much.

He was sideways, and still argued. Loved it. Also, beating the Spurs is always a little sweeter cause they do get alot of calls that arent there. Mustve been at least 2 or 3 fouls on shots where there was no contact. But they fought through and took it.

I dont think hes an elite defender, but I wouldnt say hes bad. I hate to always go back to FBB, but Parker is a B type defender, which is probably above average.

I also think most people get beat. Its harder to play defense then it is to get by someone.

Yea, well I meant not good at staying in front, my bad. Like he can close on 3s well and virtually every Spur player is physical and bumps you, which there's no FBB rating for but it's still very effective over the course of a game.

While were praising young Warriors, please dont overlook Biedrins. hes close to a double double player now, and hes younger then Monta.
