Jamal Crawford 6-6 185 High School Jamal Crawford is an intriguing HS spect out of Seattle, Washington. Crawford has amazing ball handling ability for a 6-6 player. Some think he could play either 1 or 2 in the BBS. Crawford seems to look for his own shot first, which may make him a poor candidate for point guard. Strengths-Good ball handler and shooter. Has good handles, and can get the ball up court. Like to take shots. Good spot up shooter from 18 feet out. A very good FT shooter. Weaknessess-Doesnt take the ball to the hoop. Doesnt have the play making skills youd like for a guy with his ability. Also not the best defender. Potential Rookie Ratings.... C- B- C C- D A

Not an easy guy to beat off the dribble at all, so I don't love the C- defense.

lol, pretty crappy ratings, Right now I'd give him like C+ A- B- B- D+ C type ratings, Don't think those ratings will get him anywhere close to there. Even with like 90 potential, he'd be like C A- C C...

Ducky, I think his handle needs to be higher than B-. He has to at least have the option to play PG, and I don't think that handle gives it to him. Plus, he can beat people off the dribble. Again, I don't think B- translates to that.

Crawford has been affected by the recent praise hes received from BBS GMs. Hes been very unmotivated in practice and scouts now feel his ball handling has regressed to a C-.

Reminds me of this....
White Goodman: Go ahead, make your jokes, Mr. Jokey... Joke-maker. But let me hit you with some knowledge. Quit now. Save yourself the embarrassment of losing with these losers in Las Vegas, La Fleur. Peter La Fleur: Alliteration aside, I'll take my chances in the tournament. White Goodman: Yeah, you will take your chances. Peter La Fleur: I know. I just said that. White Goodman: I know you just said that. Peter La Fleur: Okay, I'm not sure where you're going with this. White Goodman: Well, I'm not sure where *you're* going with this. Peter La Fleur: That's what I said. White Goodman: That's what I'm saying to *you.* Peter La Fleur: All right. White Goodman: ...TouchÈ.

As far as raw skill goes, he's a filthy dribbler. Can't pass for shit, but yeah, C handles is low.

according to some inside knick sources i have...jamal is the hardest working knick in the offseason as well as in season. I was suprised to hear this. He worked so hard last year and was the only guy buying into Brown. This year, he's completely regressed and is chucking the ball. Someone needs to show him tape of Rip Hamilton and show him that he doesn't constantly need to create his own shot. If the Knicks started running curls more for him, especially with his ability off the dribble, he'd be a great scorer.
