Shawn Marion 6-7 220 UNLV Marion is having a spectacular freshman season at UNLV. Averging 19 points and 9 boards, Marion seems to have the ability to play both forward spots equally well. Although he has a bit of a funky shot, it does tend to go in. His defense and rebounding make him look like a potential All-League player. Strengths-Marion loves to play defense. He can guard 2, 3 and 4, and do it well. Marion also can clean the glass. Even if he couldnt score, hed be a great player. Marion also possesses great quickness and athleticsm that allows him to score quickly and finish on the break. Weaknessess-Marion doesnt have a consistent outside shot. Hes much more of a finisher on the wing, then a guy that can create his own shot, or knock down a jumper consistently. Potential Rookie Ratings.... B- C+ C- B C+ A

Scouts have been impressed with his recent on his defensive game. Hes becoming a better man to man defender, and most scouts feel his defense would rate out at B+ now.

Those responses are pretty annoying. Just start a thread in the off topic board and respond 100 times.

Most scouts around the league say Marion is a definate top 3 pick. Although Marion has not declared yet, their have been rumors circulating that he is close to signing an agent.
