I agree. Some will probably ask "what the hell are the nets doing?", which i understand based on the talent i'm giving. Shard is great, but he doesn't fit our team. We're rebuilding, and there is no use keeping him if he keeps us mediocre, when we could be bad and get a very good pick. Our plan is to Have a team of comprised of mostly rookies and sophmores, so all of the guys can grow together, and we'll be good in a few years. Varejao was the hardest to lose, but we feel like gaining Barbosa is a huge addition. Wallace and Watson are also good, plus we also get expirings and 2 upgrades.
Sucks we have to lose stephenson and lampe which i didn't feel like we should have considering i thought the jazz won the deal anyway, but i think this will ultimately help us in the long run.
A lineup of Barbosa-Gordon-Wallace-draft pick in the 4-6 range-Kristic is a nice young core

good deal for nets. I really like barbosa and G wall.
Plus shard is overrated and only scoring that much because no one else can score on that team. He is not that good.

you gave up more value but the players you gave up are kinda anti-ideal imo... in other words i don't see any of em as big-time, just a collection of solid players/iffy prospects.
the way i see it barbosa could very well be the best player in this trade. very benificial to utah's CURRENT situation, but also makes sense for the nets.

for now I'm simply going to say no to this. I had never agreed to a deal like this, only told the nets that we were close.

nope, never gave him permission to do more than post lineups. This deal was close, but this was not what I had expected a final deal to look like. I'm kinda disappointed in NCF to be honest.

i have the AIM convo for proof
you weren't expecting a deal like this? YOUR offer was almost identical...the only difference being no watson and no upgrade. I didn't want to deal lampe so we had to come up with something in the middle.

aim convo doesnt prove anything. NCF never had permission to close any deals.

i think that is complete BS. you can not back out of a deal like that, to me both of you seem to agree on something in the first place. putting watson in there should not change anything.
he backs out when people like it for the nets.. oh oh oh boy

the offers being a compromise is fine. It's still not what I was looking for. Instead of arguing about this I'm gonna come online and hope you're there so that we can indeed finalize something. If you're not, then I guess it's back to PM's.

WTF? you're an idiot. I never agreed to any deal. REGARDLESS of any "compromises" which had been made without my knowledge. i think that is complete BS. you can not back out of a deal like that, to me both of you seem to agree on something in the first place. putting watson in there should not change anything. he backs out when people like it for the nets.. oh oh oh boy

If the assistant isn't allowed to post deals then what exactly is the problem here?

why would NCF accept a deal when he never has before and know he can not? you told him to maybe...?

You're still a dumbass. Even if I HAD done that, it shoud be well evident that there is also the problem that the deal isn't even the last offer which had been discussed between myself and the Nets. why would NCF accept a deal when he never has before and know he can not? you told him to maybe...?
