Wow. BBS had quite the run. I think the new one can surpass it. the new league is going to be much better...the few problems with BBS are now fixed, plus the new GMs will be so much more into the league with a brand new team they created.

Well My Idea Was:
Whatever amount of $$ the game generated, is fine, however the amount of years to me is what needs to be changed. For contracts that are longer than the game created, just do 10% inrease for each extra year.
So something like this....
Randomly done: 4-6 years for each 1st round pick. 4-5 years for each 2nd round pick. 3-5 years for each 3rd round pick. 3-5 years for each 4th round pick. 3-4 years for each 5th round pick. 2-4 years for each 6th round pick. 2-3 years for each 7th round pick. and then that's the draft... Or something like that. This way, not all contracts are the same, so not all the players go into FA the same year.

Sorry to be a bitch about this, but I think this is the wrong decision. Almost every fantasy draft league I've been apart of folds quickly. I doubt that will happen here if we do it, but still(Look at the last league you guys tried to start with fantasy draft...) Also, I think it makes everyone too even, making the league less fun, and shit like that. What's wrong with regular teams? If no one wants the bad team, I don't care, I'll take em. Also, Contracts will be screwed up. Their always gay. If we are doing fantasy cuz you don't know the contracts for 98-99 season, I can hook em up for you guys... Basically I want to know what the reasons to doing a fantasy draft are. BBS technically didn't fold... it's the same GMs... we're just starting over.. it's going to be alot better.

BBS started with a Fantasy draft. It will work out fine. As previously mentioned, the only real issue will be Free Agency over the first few seasons... but it's not even THAT much of an issue. Just have to wait.

Well, like I said, It's not the fantasy draft that I don't like. It's more how FBB does it. Now with the new salary rules Spence is enforcing, I'm all for it.

I think BBS90 actually folded, partly because of the fact that there was NOT a fantasy draft to start. Just seemed like trading was limited and everyone was set on what they were doing.

Hahaha I know. And Trevor Ariza was hysterical on the Knicks, mainly because of how he gave all you guys total boners, for no reason.

Just an idea. All 1st and 2nd and 3rd rounders will have bird rights.
Pick a Random Number 1-15 for 1st rounders
1 = 1 year contract 2,3 = 2 year contract 4,5,6 = 3 year contract 7,8,9 = 4 year contract 10,11,12 = 5 year contract 13,14 = 6 year contract 15 = 7 year contract
For 2nd rounders make it 1-12
1= 1 year contract 2,3 = 2 year contract 4,5,6 = 3 year contract 7,8,9 = 4 year contract 10,11 = 5 year contract 12 = 6 year contract
For third rounders 1-10
1,2 = 1 year contract 3,4 = 2 year contract 5,6,7 = 3 year contract 8,9 = 4 year contract 10 = 5 year contract
This might help with the FA problem since there should be about 5 1st or 2nd rounders on the market after the first season.
